Hi, Forgive my multiple questions on trying to understand all this; I had some of these questions a few months ago already but punted on them... I am looking into some mandatory LinuxKPI changes and I found that some of the functions I am looking at are in [patch] files for (some) of these ports. That said, it also seems some changes are expired as they are supporting non-supported FreeBSD versions. What I am trying to understand is what each of the three versions are for and how much overlap/duplication is there between these ports. Fells like it's really one per drm version with three falvors and the flavor being the nvidia-driver version? From what I see the *-kmod port is the main one including the patches and the other two are child ports for different NVIDIA-driver versions under the same drm-kmod version? Further nvidia-drm-kmod only lists two versions: 66 for ~15 and newer, 61 for the others. What are all the other versions for then? And lastly, why does nvidia need its own copy of [nividia-]drm.ko, which is, as far as I can see, based on the drm-kmod versions from github (hence also the same 5.15/6.1/6.6/...)? Any explanations would be greatlt appreciated. /bz graphics/nvidia-drm-515-kmod graphics/nvidia-drm-515-kmod-580 graphics/nvidia-drm-515-kmod-devel graphics/nvidia-drm-61-kmod graphics/nvidia-drm-61-kmod-580 graphics/nvidia-drm-61-kmod-devel graphics/nvidia-drm-66-kmod graphics/nvidia-drm-66-kmod-580 graphics/nvidia-drm-66-kmod-devel graphics/nvidia-drm-kmod << this is the "master" with the Makefile.common graphics/nvidia-drm-kmod-580 graphics/nvidia-drm-kmod-devel graphics/nvidia-drm-latest-kmod graphics/nvidia-drm-latest-kmod-580 graphics/nvidia-drm-latest-kmod-devel -- Bjoern A.
