Ok, I have applied the first patch (by  Austin Shafer) manually and I can
confirm that with it the kernel panic no longer occurs and plasma6 loads under
wayland.


I will now try again with the "files/ droppable" patch by Tomoaki Aoki for
further confirmation.

I wanted to post a confirmation screenshot, but unfortunately kde's
systemsettings is crashing under wayland when opening the "About This System"
tab. Will open another bug with its backtrace agains the kde port later.

Console switching seems to work, sometimes with some glitches (old content from
a terminated wayland session still visible) but I'll need some more time to
assess that
