As a result, I have gone back to drm-66-kmod. 612 resulted in far too frequent GPU lockups. 66 has more modern features than 61 and has proven stable. No idea whether any of the things supported in 66 will apply to an Ivy Lake system. Out of curiosity, do either of you run mpv video player or virtualbox-ose-72?
