1)Correctly enable the console. As the handbook says, there's no need to modify the "console" line. We only need to switch "ttyd0" on. 

2)Put vidconsole before comconsole so that rc.d messages goes to the graphical console. More users will have a graphical console, so it's better to have those messages there.
