Not to be the voice of negativity, but a machine old enough to not boot fro=
m=20
cdrom is probably going to be old enough to not boot FreeBSD at all either.=

Some of my older machines that *could* boot from cdrom stopped booting=20
anything at all when FreeBSD 5.x came around.  (dual pentium pros).  If you=
=20
are talking 486 or early pentium class hardware it's highly likely that=20
=46reeSBIE isn't going to boot at all.
