Agreed. Jabber is about the most solid / mature IM platform available on BSD or Linux as a whole. The other option is IRC running an ircd (many have been ongoing for 10+ years). Most IM clients support IRC now which allows for channels / direct chat just like MSN/AIM, etc. Just it would be ircd underneath. -Kevin -----Original Message----- From: Leander Damme <[email protected]> Sender: [email protected] Date: Mon, 29 Aug 2011 02:52:03 To: Paulo Fragoso<[email protected]> Cc: <[email protected]> Subject: Re: IM server for FreeBSD You could try http://www.ejabberd.im/check_vpopmail Leander Am 29.08.2011 um 01:47 schrieb Paulo Fragoso: > Hi, > > Is there any IM server for freebsd which can do user authentication by vchkpw (vpopmail)? > > Paulo. >_______________________________________________ > [email protected] mailing list > http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-isp > To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[email protected]" > _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-isp To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[email protected]" _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-isp To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[email protected]"
