portmaster vs synth

Ciao,
premesso che sto muovendo i primi passi con synth rispetto al fidato
portmaster, una mia macchina virtuale di prova mi da questi risultati:

Non mi spiego la differenza fra i due comandi, e va bene che synth
tiene conto anche delle differenze ABI, ma non mi sembra il caso di
samba46!
Inoltre entrambi i comandi sono stati lanciati da un sudo su zsh...
Ho provato a fare un clean dei distfiles nei ports, per vedere se
qualche pacchetto era forse rimasto a met=E0 (in effetti samba46 non lo
avevo installato completamente perch=E9 troppo lungo), ma la situazione
=E8 rimasta identica (in effetti quella sopra =E8 con ports puliti).

Qualche idea?
