Company is a Series A funded start-up in the California Bay Area developing a solution at the intersection of networking and storage that addresses one of the key cost components in today's distributed enterprise: the branch IT infrastructure.  Today's infrastructure leaves IT organizations with the choice of the better of two evils: a distributed environment with IT infrastructure like file and email servers in every branch, or a centralized infrastructure which simplifies management but often severely impacts application usability.  Cheyenne will allow an enterprise to have the best of both worlds: simplified management via centralization of servers, coupled with technology which delivers much higher performance "connectivity" between the branch and central data center, giving branch employees a productivity boosting "headquarters application experience".  

Company will not relocate -- Bay Area Candidates only.

Engineering Position A:  Software Engineer, CIFS
An engineer with extensive experience using the CIFS protocol for file access.  Experience implementing a CIFS server or proxy highly desirable.  Linux experience also desirable.  
 
Engineering Position B:  Software Engineer, Microsoft Exchange
An engineer with experience designing applications which access an exchange server database, preferably from linux.
