BSD/Linux Sys Admin, NYC | 70-80k 

BSD/Linux Sys Admin in a flexible, creative environment - you have control over our web services infrastructure; the more stable and solid server environment you create, the easier your job will be

Responsibilities: configure/maintain a cluster of web and MySQL servers, configure and maintain monitoring and backup of those servers, help plan and setup future infrastructure, create scripts as needed

Skills: 
* Self starter, self motivator 
* BSD/Linux geek 
* Comfortable with custom-compiled kernels, but knows when it's worth doing or not 
* Experience in setting up a solid LAMP environment 
* Able to work with developers to add needed libraries and modules 
* Solid apache/mysql skills 
* Experience with Mac OS X Server 
* Fiber channel SAN experience a plus 
* Someone who could single-handedly run a hosting service

MUST live in the tri-state (NY, NJ, CT) area. 
MUST work on-site at clients NYC location. 
MUST be a US Citizen or GC holder
