Position Title: Lead WebSphere BI Developer Location: Portland, OR Duration: 9 Months Rate: Open Job Description: The successful candidate will assist in developing interfaces for the project. This developer will be required to provide technical expertise, develop code, document work completed and transition knowledge to WBI support staff. Requirement Skills / Experience: Candidates should have the ability to identify appropriate solutions and develop interfaces using WBI Message Broker. Candidates will be involved in all aspects of the Systems Development Life Cycle (analyzing business requirements, creating technical specifications, developing and testing interfaces based on defined business processes and requirements, and documenting the interfaces). Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years programming experience in the following areas: Message Broker Toolkit version 5 or above Strong knowledge of a RDBMS (SQL Server, DB2, etc.) Experience with XML Experience using the Message Broker Toolkit debugger Must have coded ESQL within the last year Experience with RFHUTIL or MQ Visual Edit or MQ Explorer Ability to work independently with limited direction Excellent communicator--written and verbal Must be able to create a test plan Must be able to read basic COBOL data structure Must be comfortable in working under the pressure of delivering quality results with schedule deadlines. Must have a proven track record in meeting budget and schedule for tasks while still meeting or exceeding business requirements and goals. Desired: 7 Unix/AIX 7 Adapter experience (especially SAP) 7 Experience using MS Visual SourceSafe 7 MS Visio Professionalism, strong oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment are essential.
