Junior to Mid FreeBSD System Admin

RideCharge Inc., doing business as Taxi Magic, is a startup ground
transportation technology provider located in Old Town Alexandria, VA.

We are looking for a full-time junior to mid-level System Admin to help
maintain our production, staging, qa, dev, and internal FreeBSD
environments. The websites are Ruby on Rails apps while the system
related tools are perl/mod_perl based.  Our office work environment is
very comfortable.  No dress code.  Pets allowed.  Kegerator in the
kitchen.

Office: Alexandria Virginia, 22303
Data Center: Ashburn, VA

Onsite: yes
Travel: 0%
Hours: Full-time
Salary: 60-80k based on experience

Responsibilities:
    * Manage all production FreeBSD systems and networking hardware
    * Monitor stability and performance
    * Provide support for common and advanced administrative tasks
    * Diagnose, correct and document system level problems
    * Ability to solve problems quickly and automate processes
    * Being in the OnCall rotation

Requirements:
    * Experience in a production service environment
    * 1+ years as FreeBSD System Admin
    * 6+ months Network Management

    * httpd 2.2.x (mod_proxy, passenger)
    * perl/mod_perl
    * rails
    * memcached
    * MySQL 5.5.x (replication)
    * SonicWalls
    * Baraccudas
    * Subversion
