[JOB] Email Sys Admin, NYC | 100k+

My New York City client near Penn Station is a leading travel deals and
destination advice publishing firm (online and print). They are seeking a
full-time, on-site, salaried Email Systems Administrator to join their
technology team in the $100,000 range + benefits.   

They follow best-practices with regard to email and pride themselves on
maintaining high deliverability rates for all of their campaigns.  They are
looking for someone to continue to lead and expand upon their email delivery
platform as well as manage the system needs of a LAMP-based organization. 
 
Must-haves are: 
* Experience administering, configuring, tuning Postfix mail server 
* Strong Perl programming experience; senior enough to know about fork() and
daemon processes 
* Comfortable with bash scripting and Linux text processing commands (cut,
grep, awk, etc) 
* Strong on the systems side: knows about file descriptors/limits, pipes and
how to profile system bottlenecks (knows how to use iostat) 
* Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting and escalation in a production
class environment 

Knowledge in any of the following is a plus: 
* PHP, Python, Ruby, MySQL, Sphinx, mongo, redis, memcached, Apache, Nginx,
FreeBSD 

Compensation/Benefits: 
* Compensation is competitive; depends on experience 
* 3 weeks vacation (rises to 4 after 5 years); 401 K; Medical
