Juniper's MVI (Management and Virtualization Infrastructure team) is hiring.

Virtual Execution Environment (VEE) adds another dimension to JUNOS SDK and complements the existing RE and MP-SDK support by providing new APIs in the form of a new component known as VE (Virtual Engine) SDK. VE SDK enables non-JUNOS third-party (or internal) applications to integrate with JUNOS software. The job requires creating the infrastructure in JUNOS and other operating systems and then wrapping the services into APIs for seamless integration at data, management and control plane with any Juniper device and enabling different services by extending on the Juniper's service chaining model.

Requirements:

* At least 6 plus years of experience
* Expert at designing and building complex system software (Linux/FreeBSD)
* Knowledge of Networking esp. TCP/IP and socket programming is must
* Understanding of Design patterns, Object oriented design methodology
* Masters or Bachelors in Computer Science with 6 plus years relevant experience in       systems development using C/C++
* Innovative, self directed and passionate about bringing ideas to life in a real live  software environment

Desired skills:
* Good knowledge of open source technologies a plus
* Knowledge of Linux internals a plus
