    $ man pkg_info

     # cd /boot/kernel
     # kldload sound.ko
     # kldload snd_ich.ko

See man pages of kldload and kldstat.

Also, add the following line to /boot/loader.conf:

        snd_ich_load="YES"

to load the sound modules by default at boot time (no need to do
kldload explicitly).
