zfs zroot/etc für /etc

Hallo,

auf meinem Laptop läuft ein freebsd auf einem zfs Filesystem.

Wäre es möglich, das Verzeichnis /etc in einem eigenen zfs zu kopieren?
zfs create zroot/etc

Mein Ziel ist es, regelmäßige Snapshots von diesem Verzeichnis zu 
erstellen.

Oder gibt es Probleme mit dem Bootprozess?
