Seriously, though, you always have to ask the people who make something. I recently bought a new manufactored "classic" electric guitar from the U.S. To be able to recognize this "classic" by its sound at all, I ordered different pickups right from the start. In this case, it=E2=80=99s certainly a marketing ploy to sell more. In the case of software, it=E2=80= =99s a matter of demand and the manpower available for maintenance.
