I think you have narrowed down the problem to the HDD. I suspect the SATA interface portion of the HDD printed circuit board has an intermittent fault. The next step would be to run Seagate Seatools and test all the HDD's. Also, check the firmware versions (I would not upgrade yet, if available). I prefer self-booting tools for trouble-shooting: https://www.seagate.com/support/downloads/seatools/ Let us know what Seatools says. David
