Thunderbird no longer works for me with … NNTP, full stop.

Did the attachment, the screenshot with my email a few hours ago, reach 
the list? Was it visible via NNTP?

That's what's missing. Now, missing not only for news.gmane.io; the NNTP 
server that was previously present is no longer present.
