Bug in "Edit"

Hi,

there's a Bug in Edit:
I have a german keyboard layout (GR). In Edit I can't access 
characters that need a key-combination with the "Alt Gr"-key.
For example, I cannot get the Backslash (\) or the pipe symbol (|).
And they are important to edit the configuration files.

Now I use Notepad for editing them - but that's not in the base set.
