But now this word often mean that this program is intermediate between "final" releases, although it may be fully functional. On the other side, missing "beta" word doesn't mean that program don't contains bugs. Study, for example, MS software - its commercial, widely distributed software contains so many bugs and inconveniences, that I wonder how so many peoples suffer this.
