The problem is often that we cannot reproduce it and the reporter doesn't
come back. One problem is that even though you must leave your email
address the correspondence is not automatically mailed to the reporter and
(s)he might expect that (the sourceforge bug tracker works that way for
instance). In any case we'll get bugzilla soon so it doesn't matter so
much :)

Maybe we should just aggressively close bug reports where the
reporter hasn't replied to questions or where the bugs are
unreproduceable.

If they still exist then somebody will report back later anyway.
