But for instance, whereas COREL DELUXE does a lot for win users to 
import their desktop to the debian kernel, and offers WINE, WORDPERFECT, 
& PHOTOPAINT, and runs these win apps just like win users expect,,, but 
if you wanna import something from the net or another linux cd, it is 
nothing but hassle and cryptic error msgs.

But a lotta win users could care less. They've got a desktop that looks 
and acts familiar and they dont wanna mess around with it.

I've tried BSD, Caldera 2.4, Corel, Debian 2.2.r3, Mandrake 7, 9, Slack 
7.1, Suse 6.4, 7.3, and maybe a few others, on both ide and scsi. The 
downloaded drivers for a TEKRAM scsi card would not work on several of 
them at all.  

There has been a lotta progress since RH 5.2 by many of them.

But I dont recall _ever_ seeing a dosemu icon or even a listing in the 
pull-up lists, which are somewhat aggrevating to use amid all the 
choices. I sympathize with the other developers wanting to make anything 
that works for everyone.
