> Hi! Hi, > Do you know this site http://team3.ws/ ? :-) Now we just need to create a DOS version of PHP and MySQL and we have everything we could have had just as free and easily with Linux... woopsie ;-)) Well, the above may be a neat thing for integrated devices serving on some kind of "home network", but I guess even then we'd need something more sophisticated than "just" a webserver - it should be able to schedule tasks and run CGI scripts as well. You see, I just need that perculator with a web-interface. Last switch-on and switch-off times to see if it's fresh, video image of the pot to judge how much coffe is left, online temperature measurement to judge if it's still hot or not, plus number of cups severd calculated by the amount of water used, waterlever-indicator including calculation of when the perculating run will be complete etc. ;-) Then we also need client and server routines for a CPMP (Coffee Pot Messaging Protocol) style interfacing of all home devices - and before you know it, you can control your stove, fridge, perculator and TV via a simple email, just like Billy Boy envisioned it. Just beware of spam... ;-) > bye, flox Sorry - it's Friday and I had too much coffee today - enjoy your weekend!
