Hi all,

I'm trying to dualboot FreeDOS and winXP. I've got XP installed on my =
primary HD and I've installed FreeDOS on a 2nd HD in the primary =
partition with it set to active.=20

I followed the instructions in the faq which didn't work. I figured it =
was because the bootloader was looking for FreeDOS on the first HD so I =
changed boot.ini to look like this

.. winXP stuff...
D:/FDIMAGE.BIN =3D FreeDOS

D: being the drive letter for my 2nd HD where it's installed. This =
almost worked but I keep getting an error: "Can't find hal32.dll" It's =
like winXP is looking for it's own system files.=20

Has anyone encountered this problem before and/or know how to fix it? Or =
at least have some advice?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Jim
