sorry i was away from mailbox,
it looks like this:
on client side:
freedos starts up all correct
novell client32 for dos starts up all correct
login with no problem
a batch file is started which starts
btrieve.exe
and from this point every call to drive c: goes to drive a: which results in many problems
like comspec is set to c:\command.com
when the user exits the program the bat file unloads btrieve.exe like:
btrieve.exe /u
and none is set back to normal whatever you look for on c: the system looks for it on
drive a:
i tried many things like no drive a: , the only thing has happened is that it hung for a long
time.
i'll try to get the latest btrieve.exe and try with that, also i'll try all old and new clients
starting from bindery.
any more ideas are welcome...
