Well first this URL in the Docs is wrong, that just screams profesionalism
doesnt it.
ftp://freedos.sourceforge.net/pub/freedos/freecom/suppl.zip

Then, in ftp://ftp-fd.inf.fh-rhein-sieg.de/pub/freedos/local/ALPHA there are
17 files but no mention of which one is correct.

ok.. well lets download suppl-2.7-pre-2001-02-18.zip just for fun.

Ok. step one " use one of the COMPILER\* preparations -or-"

Where is the "COMPILER" tree ? where is it off.. seems it doesnt exist...

"DEL cfg*.*" It never existed...

"DEL t.c" Cant find that either..

" : compile all remaining *.c files" Which ones and how.. we dont even have
a SUPPL yet, so thats a stupid step!?!

"+ copy all the *.H files and the library from the SUPPL release into
FREECOM\SUPPL -or-"

Ahh... now mabe geting somewhere.. but SUPPL still isnt compiled..

" update CONFIG.MAK to let SUPPL_???_PATH point to the SUPPL directory"

But didnt you tell us to put everything in the SUPPL directory.. then.. it
should be there.. or is this some other location?

Do you think you could just MABE reassess the compilation process of
FreeCOM.. It might JUST make it a bit more accesible to people.. Its a good
reference I admit, but hell.. I dono how anyone manages to compile it..

Thanks
 Colin
