TC3 runs but not in FreeDOS

Hi all,

    Don't know why  I didn't try this earlier....  
    I booted into Microsoft DOS from my old Windows98 Startup Disk.  Now 
tc runs and it runs stable.   I think this strongly suggests an 
incompatibility of the TBC 3.0 with Freedos.  Perhaps the program is 
just too strongly bound to the subtle intricacies of MSDOS.  I can't be 
sure, but I really doubt that any kind of tinkering with memory managers 
or the dpmiinst utility can by itself address the problem.  I can only 
guess as I am not like most in this group an expert on assembler or 
operating systems either, for that matter.  If I get some time later 
I'll test it with Caldera Dr. DOS and post the results if anyone is 
interested.
