I have myself little knowledge on German language myself, and I am lost 
with some sentences there.

I think a good starting would be to have some help on this, for which no 
big knowledge (but yet some) would be required.
After all, the improvements to xkeyb (by me) are equally due to Michael 
Kallas, who did the unvaluable work of translating the comments, which 
made xkeyb source obscure at some points.
