What about FORMAT?

Hi,

what is the current FORMAT status?

Can it safely format floppies? with verification?

Can it format fat32 partitions?

I remenber that only the surface test was missing, is it so?
if that is missing, could it be used if some surface scan like
dosfsck, chkdsk or scandisk is used imidiately after format?

from my point of view this is one of the last missing FreeDOS
utilities (along with scandisk).
