It was Kernel BUG. FreeCOM was OK. I have tested only DOS Navigator 1.51 It may apply to NDN since NDN is strongly based on DN. ============================================ 2026a ===== FCom 083 Beta ... (from FDB8 Official Release) Dos Navigator 1.51 No problems. Can survive with 417kb free base memory. 2027te ====== FCom 083 Beta [44,46] [XMS_SWAP,BINARY] Dos Navigator 1.51 When trying to copy/move directories/files with F5/F6 key DN error message "can't write" appears. Directory structure is created properly, but no files are copied. It doesn't matter if you have 4xxkb or 601kb free base memory. DEBUG version of FCom doesn't give enough memory DN to run. You got DN message "Not enough memory" and empty panels are displayed. 2027rc ====== FCom 083 Beta [44,46] [XMS_SWAP,DEBUG,BINARY] Dos Navigator 1.51 No problems. Directory structure and files are copied properly. - Chris p.s. I changed my email address in meanwhile. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Tytus na Dzikim Zachodzie < http://tytus.wp.pl/ >
