IMHO: if program works under MD, it should work under FD. But if program fails under MD, then it not neccessarilly should fail under FD - some failures may be caused not by bugs in apps, but by (1) bug in some MD version or (2) by bad configuration of tested MD version. But in case of bug in application FD shouldn't try to patch this, especially if MD fails with this bug.
