[PATCH 1/2] login: Write cat output to stdout

Bradley Morgan <[email protected]> Sun, 21 Jun 2026 18:18:54 +0000
Newsgroups gmane.os.hurd.bugs
Message-ID <[email protected]>
cat is used to display /etc/nologin and the MOTD, and its comment says it writes to standard output. It actually wrote to file descriptor 0, which is the caller's standard input.

Write to STDOUT_FILENO instead.
