I've spent quite a lot of time over the last few weeks trying all sorts of combinations of test case but without any success at generating corruption. I think that I've recreated a very close match to the boralus virtual machine so perhaps I need a closer match to the underlying hardware to make progress this way. I'm likely going to have to generate an alternative plan. The only new data that might be relevant is that the corruption is not limited to .so files.
