Well, maybe it's not so bad.  I have checked in some fixes and it builds
ok.  Running ld.so from by cross-build directly works to give its usage
msg.  I'm running a native build now and will try make check in that.  Of
course that doesn't mean cthreads startup and/or static linking with Hurd
libraries are not totally broken.
