No, browsing via ViewVC is an unrelated issue---unfortunately, because
it affects all CVS repositories.

You can checkout all modules if you use . as the name, like

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:[email protected]:/sources/hurd co .

But probably the repository isn't really used; I'll replace the hook
with the one commonly used in Savannah to send commit notifications.
