I installed Hurd in virtualbox about one month ago and it was quite successful.
I don't think I got any errors. I didn't use L1 installation DVD though. I used
debian-K16-hurd-i386-CD1.iso. Did you get any troubles to install or run Hurd in
Virtualbox?
