Mach or Hurd can't find DVD drive

Hello,

the Debian installer can't find my DVD drive and the boot log doesn't
mention it either. I think it shares the same SATA controller as my
hard disk, and the hard disk at least is correctly mentioned during boot.
Do you think it's a problem with Mach? If so I can work on it.
