Ok, it works... I now realize that what I was seeing was the log screen... =
and it
is the same as /var/log/syslog

Also, reading the logs, it feels like if cdrom-detect load netbsd rump kern=
el... but
would never returns to say that it did not found the cdrom.

I say this in part because cdrom-detect in shell says: not found

Hope to not insult the project, but I was asking myself if cdrom-detect kno=
ws
how to detect SATA drives.... or only IDE?

I know not much people test on real hardware....

This Optiplex 380 uses a SATA drive.
