OK, I took a peek at the output of lspci and /var/log/syslog and it seems =
a lot is not supported=2E Unfortunately I can't find a way to get the files=
 out of the system, as
1=2E I can't mount USB drives
2=2E The ethernet card seems to be not supported=20

I think I will try another machine=2E
