Hello fellow NetBSD users, enthusiasts/hobbyists, retro gamers.
Just a quick note from a fellow user. I've been really happy seeing 11.0 RC=
4 come together.
Since we are getting close to the middle of the year, I wanted to put out a=
friendly reminder about the NetBSD Foundation's 2026 funding goals. I sent=
over an email earlier this year to help finish off the 2025 gap [ https://=
mail-index.netbsd.org/netbsd-users/2025/10/26/msg033327.html] , and it woul=
d be awesome if we could get the 2026 bar moving too!
Also we are seeing many good things coming up with GSoC 2026 https://blog.n=
etbsd.org/tnf/entry/gsoc2026_welcome_contributors=C2=A0especially I am look=
ing forward to " Port the Enlightenment desktop environment to NetBSD=C2=A0=
 [ https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/programs/2026/projects/mifwPqCq ]=C2=
=A0
The project relies on us to keep the lights on. If you can spare a few doll=
ars to celebrate the upcoming 11.0 release, I know it goes a long way.
