The pkgsrc developers are proud to announce the 77th quarterly release of pkgsrc, the cross-platform packaging system. pkgsrc is available with more than 27,000 packages, and supports 23 platforms, of which 10 are currently known to be working. More information on pkgsrc itself is available at https://www.pkgsrc.org/ In total, 215 packages were added, 63 packages were removed, and 2326 package updates (to 1687 unique packages) were processed since the pkgsrc-2022Q3 release. Updates include 56 perl5 packages, 570 Python packages, 184 Ruby packages, and 39 TeX packages. This announcement takes a high-level view, grouping related packages under a single name, and treating multiple versions of an upstream package as a logical unit. Thus, 'gcc 12', while a new entry 'lang/gcc12', is an update to 'lang/gcc*'. For the 2022Q4 release we welcome the following notable packages additions: - suse15 emulation packages - signify - Python 3.11.1 - PostgreSQL 15.1 - Qt 6 - PHP 8.2 - kubo 0.17.0 We welcome the following notable updates: - certbot 2.1.0 - CMake 3.25.1 - Emacs 28.2 - FFmpeg 5.1.2 - Firefox 107.0.1 - GIMP 2.99.14 (GTK3 version) - Go 1.19.4 - HarfBuzz 5.3.1 - LXQt 1.2.0 - matrix-synapse 1.73.0 - MATE 1.26 - NodeJS 18.12.1 - qgis 3.28.2 - Rust 1.64.0 - wxGTK 3.2.1 - yt-dlp 2022.11.11 As always, many packages have been brought up to date relative to upstream micro releases. Instructions on using the binary package manager can be found at https://pkgin.net, and pkgsrc itself can be retrieved from via CVS or tar file, and also from a mirror at https://github.com/NetBSD/pkgsrc.
