 OK, can you try this:
 
 1. hdaudioctl get 0 1 > def.xml; cp def.xml new.xml
 
 2. Edit new.xml and change the `config' value (same as the `Data' field in
     the above table) for nid 33 (0x21) from 0x2214020 -> 0x221401f.
 
 3. sync; hdaudioctl set 0 1 new.xml
 
 That should associate the HP output and the speaker output.
