 Hi RVP,
 
 I tested this on my system. With PCI_RESOURCE enabled, hdaudio fails to attach.
 After rebuilding the kernel without PCI_RESOURCE, hdaudio attaches correctly
 and sound works again.
 
 This confirms that the hdaudio problem on my system is related to PCI_RESOURCE.
