OK, for many platforms GCC 14 is now ready to test.

it seems fine for me on amd64, sparc, and sparc64.  my arm64 builds
are having issues so far.  i haven't tested any 32 bit arm, but they
all build, as does mips64 (not mips), powerpc, and riscv.
