hi james, in my earler mail i sent u the new fwohci_pktget(). In that function i m using bus_dmamap_sync() with a PREREAD option. I m using RBHMA4200 Target board for TX4927 processor. With the POSTREAD option, the fwohci_buf_pktget() is not able to read the new descriptor map as it was not updated on the memory. Thus i have to soft reset the board around 100 times to read the config ROM of the SBP2 device. With the PREREAD option i m able to read the Config ROM in 1 shot. When i write the address of the login ORB on to the target device(1394 HDD), I recieve a READ REQUEST BLOCK from the HDD. In responses to this LOGIN ORB is sent to the device as READ RESP BLOCK. After doing this i recieve the ackcomplete from the target but then It stucks. i.e. there is no Interrupt from the device for WRITE REQUEST BLOCK. Can u suggest where is the problem. Also there is one more problem that i faced with the FWOHCI code, ie. when i boot the system, the code reads the value of MAX_REC field from then BUSOPTIONS REGISTER as 0, so i HARDCODED it to 0xA(2048). -- Regards, Rishabh Kumar Goel Associate Software Engineer SoCrates Software India Pvt.
