Google's SoC -- makefs extension

Hi!

I want to participate in Google's Summer of Code, and I think 
the extension of makefs to understand iso9660 filesystem 
suits me best.

I've already contacted David Young and Daniel Watt about it, who have
worked (and still working) in this area. I'm intend to join to the
development. The development team has a nice wiki at 
http://cd9660.dyndns.org:88/wiki/index.php/Main_Page where all the
design documents and official iso 9660 references can be found (or a
link to them, at least)

Any suggestions welcome.
