I worry that by reinventing the wheel repeatedly, NetBSD will assure
that it doesn't get a working solution. The FreeBSD stuff is "good
enough" -- NetBSD should just take it. A working solution that is
reasonably good is better than perfect vaporware.

I'm sure that there are all sorts of ways in which the FreeBSD
solution violates one person or another's taste, but it is finished
and actually runs.
