I also used ftp for downloading of snapshot sets, using similar way in
a shell script.

There is a server at ftp.fr.netbsd.org still providing
pub/NetBSD-daily. Will that one be cancelled as well, and will the
only site providing snaphosts be the one at nyftp.netbsd.org?
