Nice. I can confirm that it works fine so far (tested on ofppc). And I
really like it better than a series of questions in the end.

When nobody else objects you should commit it. It is IMHO not worse than the
current solution and it can still be improved in the future.

Just one point: When selecting "c: Change root password" you are asked
again, if you want to change your password. Of course you want! Otherwise
you wouldn't have selected this option. ;)

You should remove this question.
