This may be a PEBKAC issue.

I was looking at my serial-line capture and just now noticed it says
that ^N and ^P are supposed to work too.  I didn't try them, because I
hadn't noticed that before.  Assuming of course that they work as
advertised, maybe it would be good to mention them when displaying the
timezone menus?  I think there's enough spare space on the screen....
